Ellwood City Ledger
ELLWOOD CITY It s true, the borough s Arts, Crafts, Food and Entertainment Festival will not happen this year, but an important summer ritual still will.
Ellwood City s annual firework display, typically part of the the festival line up, will go on, despite the committee s decision last Tuesday to cancel the main event due to concerns over COVID-19. An exact date, time and location for the fireworks has yet to be decided, but they re tentatively planned for 10 p.m. on July 2,3 or 4. We are still ironing out the exact details, said Eric Rayner, the chairman of the fireworks subcommittee, noting that final decisions should be made in the next couple of weeks. It s just about working with the borough and Zambelli (Fireworks).
