Grindeland of Fort Collins. He was transported to Medical Center of the Rockies where he died of multiple blunt force injuries in the accidental crash. A 63-year-old man died late Sunday night after his Honda Civic left Mulberry Street and struck a large landscaping rock. The crash was reported just before 11 p.m. at 510 E. Mulberry St., according to Fort Collins police.

Man Dies From Fall At Rocky Mountain National Park Sadly, according to a press release from Rocky Mountain National Park, a 33-year-old man from Denver has died after a 50-foot fall at Many Parks Curve inside the park along Trail Ridge Road. The fall happened on a rock outcropping between the upper and lower parking areas at Many Parks Curve. The man’s body was transferred to the Larimer County Coroner’s Office.  The man s name has not been released and will not be until his family has been notified. The Many Parks Curve along Trail Ridge Road is basically a pull out to see a scenic vista of many parks including: Moraine Park, Upper Beaver Meadows, and Horseshoe Park meadows which are visible with Deer Mountain and Longs Peak in the distance.

Denver man falls to his death in Rocky Mountain National Park

Update: Sunday: The Larimer County Coroner s Office identified the man who fell to his death in the park as Derick Martinez. A forensic autopsy was performed but manner and cause of death are pending investigation. A 33-year-old Denver man fell to his death Wednesday near Many Parks Curve in Rocky Mountain National Park. The man fell approximately 50 feet from a rock outcropping between the upper and lower parking areas at the popular pullout along Trail Ridge Road, according to a park news release Wednesday night. Many Parks Curve is the last point open from the east along the road during winter.
