An Andy Warhol screen-print being sold at auction could help out a Kewanee -area school.
The print, entitled, “Mao,” was created by Andy Warhol in 1972. It is the 25th of 250 editions and has an estimated value is between $30,000 -$50,000.
The piece was donated by James Hannon, class of 1960, to his alma mater Visitation Catholic School, and is being sold by New York-basked Lark Mason Associates. The company’s Prints and Multiples sale is now open for bidding on www.igavelauctions.com through Jan. 14, 2021.
