Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala faced boycott in his home constituency on Thursday, when villagers dug up a helipad ahead of his visit and demanded his resignation for backing BJP in the state and centre.
They said Mr Chautala will not be allowed to enter the village till he quits his position in the state government - formed with support of his party the Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) - and backs farmers who form his main voterbase.
Villagers in Jind s Uchana Kalan waved black flags and raised slogans of farmers unity. They also chanted slogans against the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led central government and Dushyant Chautala go back .
Protesting farmers show black flags at Haryana CM’s convoy Agitators try to block Manohar Lal Khattar’s motorcade, police ensure safe passage
A group of Haryana farmers protesting against the Centre’s three agri-marketing laws, showed black flags to the convoy of state Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar when he was passing through Ambala city, sources said.
According to them, some of the farmers tried to block Khattar’s motorcade but the police managed to provide a safe passage to the chief minister.
Khattar had come to Ambala to address public meetings in support of party s mayoral and ward candidates for the upcoming civic bodies polls.
The farmers later started gathering at the Anaj Mandi and also tried to block the Ambala-Hisar highway.
Meanwhile, in Bahal town, farmers staged a protest when Dalal went to a village to address a public meeting. The farmers had planned to show black flags to the minister, but the police stopped the agitators away from the route leading to the venue of the public meeting. Sources in the farm unions said they will show black flags to the CM when he will go to the village on December 27.

Some of the farmers allegedly tried to block Khattar s motorcade but police managed to provide a safe passage to the chief minister, sources said.
Khattar had come to Ambala to address public meetings in support of party s mayoral and ward candidates for the upcoming civic bodies polls.
The farmers waved black flags at the chief minister s convoy while it was crossing the Agrasen Chowk. They also raised slogans against the government and said that they would continue to protest till the three farm laws are not repealed.
