MALIBU, CA A high surf advisory is in effect from Saturday afternoon to Tuesday in Malibu, the National Weather Service reports.
Large breaking waves at 4 to 7 feet are expected on Saturday at 3 p.m., increasing to 5 to 8 feet Saturday evening through Sunday across the Los Angeles County Coast, Catalina and Santa Barbara islands.
The surf will diminish somewhat Sunday night before a larger swell brings surf of 6 to 10 feet by Monday afternoon. Surf will slowly diminish by Tuesday evening.
