County sheriff expected to release Tiger Woods crash report Wednesday Andrew Blankstein and Jamie Knodel © Provided by NBC News The Los Angeles County Sheriff s Department on Wednesday is expected to release its report on the February rollover crash that seriously injured golf legend Tiger Woods, law enforcement officials said. The accident report is not expected to provide significant new details about what caused Woods to drive off the road in Southern California, the officials said. Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva said last week that detectives had determined what caused Woods to hit a center median, cross traffic lanes, drive over the curb and eventually hit a tree before his SUV rolled over in the early morning accident. But he said details would not be released, citing unspecified privacy concerns.

Man Charged With Killing Transient, Injuring Another With Vehicle

By City News Service Apr 6, 2021 LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Criminal charges were filed today against a homeless man accused of deliberately ramming a vehicle into two other transients, killing one and injuring the other, within the federal enclave in West Los Angeles. Pedro Saade-Flores also known as Pedro Flores is charged with one count each of murder and attempted murder, along with an allegation that he personally used a motor vehicle as a deadly and dangerous weapon, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney s Office. Los Angeles Police Department officers sent about 12:05 a.m. Sunday to the 11600 block of San Vicente Boulevard found two men who had been struck by the vehicle one of whom had been dragged more than 200 feet. The 51-year-old man died at the scene. His name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
