But, as the show s full title hints, Ramirez s string of murders, burglaries, carjackings, and sexual assaults is retraced specifically through the lens of the detectives who spent months trying to figure out who he was and bring him to justice.
Detectives are investigating the circumstances around Monday’s shooting inside a gated community in Canyon Country.
The suspect, described by law enforcement only as a Hispanic man, was struck twice in the upper torso and was transported to a local hospital to be treated for his injuries, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau officials.
While no other new information was available Tuesday morning, homicide detectives confirmed he was listed in critical condition.
The incident occurred around 2:20 p.m. Monday on MacMillan Ranch Road near Warm Springs Drive inside a gated community after the man drove a red Toyota Tacoma truck through the gate, forcing his way into the community, according to a Nixle released by the Sheriff’s Department.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide investigators are responding to assist South Gate Police Department with a death investigation. The incident was reported Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at approximately 6:40 a.m., on the 2700 block of Nebraska Avenue in South Gate.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Probe Underway After Man Is Fatally Shot In Lancaster Syndicated Local – CBS Los Angeles
LANCASTER (CBSLA) Authorities Sunday continued to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a man in Lancaster.
The shooting unfolded Sunday just before 2:30 a.m. in the 400 block of West Avenue J-12, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
It was there that authorities responded and located the victim. He was taken to a hospital where he died.

Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Altadena Station are asking for your help identifying and locating the two attempted murder suspects.
On Friday, December 4, 2020 at approximately, 12:33 p.m., a deputy, in a marked black and white patrol vehicle, was driving northbound on the 2500 block of Fair Oaks Avenue in Altadena when Suspect #1 pointed a firearm in the female deputy’s direction and fired several gunshots. Suspect #1, and his accomplice Suspect #2, then fled the location on foot.
Thankfully the deputy was not struck by gunfire.
Suspect #1’s black jacket and shoes were located nearby. He’s seen pictured above running in socks.
