Three Injured in Los Angeles Stabbing, Suspect in Custody | The Patriot KEIB AM 1150

By City News Service Apr 29, 2021 LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Several people were injured in a stabbing attack today in South Los Angeles and a suspect was taken into custody. There was no word on what precipitated the attack, which was reported about 3:40 p.m. in the 1000 block of West 43rd Street near Vermont Avenue, according to Officer Tony Im of the Los Angeles Police Department Media Relations Division. Three people were taken to a hospital with injuries of unknown severity, Im said. CBS2 reported that a child may have been among the injured, though police did not immediately confirm the report.

Witnesses told police two suspects aimed in toward an area where the set s security officers were stationed fired and fire three shots just before 3 p.m. Thursday. The filming was taking place in the area of Hartford Avenue and West Fifth Street near Los Angeles Center Studios, Officer William Cooper of the Los Angeles Police Department s Media Relations division. The star of the ABC series, Nathan Fillion, was onset at the time, TMZ reported.
