   1:13 a.m. A Motel 6 security guard reported a driver in a red Toyota Tacoma hit a fence as he was leaving. An officer found a Tacoma with front end damage at Allsups but it was not the truck that hit the fence.

   12:07 a.m. A Coyote caller repeatedly tried to get New Mexico State Police to come to his house because he said he had intruders. Dispatch said there were no Rio Arriba County Sheriffâs Office personnel on duty after midnight and State Police had no one in District 5, nor Sandoval County. All District 5 State Police were in Albuquerque.

ARLINGTON, Texas - A 6-year-old girl in Arlington was nearly hit by a stray bullet after New Year s Eve celebratory gunfire ripped through her bedroom window.
It s just one of several issues tied to celebratory gunfire in the city that night.
That girl s mother told FOX 4 about the trauma it caused her daughter.
3 arrested after New Year’s Eve shooting incident at Arlington apartments
Police said it is believed the three men were there to fire celebratory gunshots because of the holiday.

Three men were arrested after a shooting incident Thursday night at an apartment complex in Arlington.
Just before 7 p.m. Thursday, Arlington police responded to a shooting call at Arlington Memorial Hospital, where they learned a woman came to the hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound, police said.
“There were so many irresponsible people last night, shooting firearms in the city,” Lt. Christopher Cook. “It's just a very somber mood on staff today.”
