MERRILL – A 46-year-old man died Monday after he was pinned under a tractor while trying to get a truck out of a field in Lincoln County. Deputies responded around 3:45 p.m. to a report that a person was pinned under a tractor in the town of Merrill, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office. First responders removed the man and performed life saving measures, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials believe there was a large truck stuck in a field, and the man tried to get it out with the tractor. At some point the tractor overturned, and the man was pinned underneath.
