(Shutterstock) EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ East Brunswick Mayor Brad Cohen announced that the township will participate in the Nationwide memorial honoring those who lost their lives to COVID-19. This memorial will coincide with a Washington, D.C. ceremony on Jan. 19, a day before President-elect Joe Biden s inauguration. The event in East Brunswick will take place at 5.30 p.m. Township buildings will either be illuminated or have the inside lights on for five minutes. Subscribe Cohen has also encouraged local businesses and organization to illuminate their buildings. Additionally, places of worship have also been invited to ring bells for five minutes beginning 5. 30 p.m.
