It was the second time in a year that Andis Bergs had given a high reading and he was on bail for the first offence. The 35-year-old was held in custody before appearing at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday to plead guilty to drink-driving on both occasions. Bergs was first arrested in Spalding on May 27 last year. In custody he blew 105 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath; the legal limit being 35.
