The family of a pensioner with motor neurone disease is asking Lincolnshire health bosses to share their plans for when housebound patients will receive against coronavirus.
Gary Markham has contacted Holbeach Medical Centre numerous times to find out when his 70-year-old mother Jackie will be receiving the vaccination but has not received a response so far.
Mr Markham, who shares the caring duties with wife Heather, says his mother is unable to get to a vaccination centre without an ambulance due to her condition.
Vaccinations are progressing well.
Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group has announced they are now able to arrange their appointment at one of Lincolnshire’s Large Vaccination Centres, at either Boston’s PRSA sports centre or the Lincolnshire Showground, by visiting www.nhs.uk/covid-vaccination or calling 119 free of charge anytime between 7am and 11pm, seven days a week.
If you prefer to wait until an appointment is available with your GP or closer to your home address at one of the more local vaccination sites, such as Grantham, wait to be contacted in due course as they continue to work through the national priority group order.
