Developer to build 228 homes in Grappenhall Heys

How the new development could look DEVELOPERS have given a glimpse at what the latest new housing development in south Warrington could look like. House by Urban Splash has been appointed by Homes England to build 228 homes in Grappenhall Heys – the final phase of the building work. To be called Grappenhall Woods, outline planning permission has already been granted by Warrington Borough Council. Now the developers will launch an online public consultation before a detailed planning submission is granted. As well as new houses, the plans will show proposals for a central copse running through the neighbourhood, providing 2,800 sq m of green space and play areas.

Decision should be made on controversial homes in Evesham

A FINAL decision on whether to controversially build more than 70 homes on the site of a former Victorian hospital should be made this week having been delayed because of missing information in the application. Planning officers at Wychavon District Council have been waiting for important documents about drainage from developer ilke Homes about its plan to build 76 ‘modular’ homes built on the site of the former Evesham Sanatorium off King’s Road near to Evesham Marina. Councillors meet again today (December 10) to make a decision with the district council’s planning officers again recommending the plan should be approved. A decision could not be made by the district council’s planning committee last month as the information had not been provided.
