Krizan, who was the 2018 GLVC Freshman of the Year, leads the Screaming Eagles in hitting with a team-best .336 in 2021. The junior outfielder also has 29 runs scored, seven doubles, one triple, one home run and a team-best 23 stolen bases. The Mt. Vernon, Indiana, native also set the USI all-time record for stolen bases this spring and has 98 thefts during his three-plus seasons.
Dave Tanzyus will be appointed Madison County administrator at a special board meeting at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
A former aide to Republican Congressman Mike Bost, Tanzyus has been serving in Chairman Kurt Prenzler s administration since December when the board confirmed his appointment as community development administrator.
With 30 years of government experience, Tanzyus will fill the seat that had been occupied by administrator Doug Hulme, who was terminated by the county board last April.
Prenzler also will appoint Chris Bethel as IT director.
Bethel started working for IT in January 2017, under former director Rob Dorman, whom the county board also terminated last April. Bethel began as a project manager, then became manager of network services.

Noble-Loveland rejoins SSP

ALTON Stacey Noble-Loveland, a native of Alton, has rejoined Senior Services Plus as the Director of Operations.
She previously worked as the Care Transitions Coordinator and since has held various positions throughout the community, including Director of Resident Services as well as served as Executive Director of two senior living communities.
Noble-Loveland earned her bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Greeneville College and a master’s degree in Gerontology from Lindenwood University.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - University of Southern Indiana freshman outfielder Mackenzie Bedrick (Brownsburg, Indiana) and senior outfielder Alicia Webb (Elberfeld, Indiana) have been named to the All-Great Lakes Valley Conference Softball teams in an announcement by the league office Wednesday evening and following a vote by the leagueâs head coaches.
Bedrick was one of seven players to be named first-team All-GLVC in a unanimous selection and the only outfielder to get the maximum amount of first-team All-GLVC votes.
