Suspected burglar fell through roof of former shop

GARDAI have arrested a suspected burglar who fell through the roof of a former shop which he is accused of breaking into.
The man, whose aged in his 30s, was arrested yesterday in connection with the incident which occurred in the early hours on Sunday morning. At around 7.30am on Sunday, gardaí at Mayorstone Park were alerted to a burglary that occurred at a shop on Old Cratloe Road a few hours earlier, said a spokesperson. A man had attempted to gain entry through the roof and fell through onto the shop floor. He proceeded to remove a quantity of stock and then left the scene, he added.

THREE young men have have been charged with possession of a variety of tools and implements which gardai believe were to be used to steal catalytic converters.
The three, who are all from Limerick, appeared before a special court sitting in Ennis on Saturday night after they were charged under the provisions of Section 15 of the Criminal Justice (Theft and Fraud Offences) Act, 2001.
Judge Mary Larkin was told all three were arrested in the Castletroy area of Limerick city at around 12.30am on Friday after gardai encountered a distinctive Volkswagen Golf which was being sought in relation to another incident.
