Understand that your happiness it is an inside job. No one can steal it from you and, likewise, no one can give it to you. You must decide that happiness is what you want and let nothing stop you from achieving it.

And not just because our forefathers fought hard to give us an opportunity to chase after happiness (thank you), but because you deserve nothing less than that.

Real Life Mama: Girl climber, 6, is going places

Six or 26, this girl’s feet will never be on the ground. Through any and all occasions, I know she will always rise. And for that, this mama could not be any prouder.
She has never stopped climbing – not for the entire six years that she has been alive now. In fact, one may argue that she literally climbed her way out into this world - super quick and with a fresh bruise on her forehead. That probably should have been my first sign – the moment she was born – that this girl was going to give me a run for my money.
