TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) â Maybe you ve noticed more opportunities to connect with the Leon County Sheriff s Office lately.
It s part of the All In Leon Campaign to make sure people can get to know those sworn to protect and serve.
On Saturday, LCSO met with the community over hamburgers and hot dogs in Woodville.
The goal is to hear more of the concerns and comments from the people in hopes of building a stronger Sheriff s Office.
Leon County Sheriff Walt McNeil told ABC 27 the recent community events are all about making community connections.

WPD: 3:57 p.m. Tuesday, Clary Street and Milton Avenue.
WPD: 7:28 p.m. Tuesday, Oxford Street and North Spring Avenue.
Minnesota State Patrol: 4:09 a.m. Wednesday, Interstate 90 and mile marker 51, Ewington Township, Jackson County. Driver Dafoe Dean, 52, and passenger Crystal Dafoe, 41, both of Lakefield, were traveling westbound on Interstate 90 in a 2017 Ford Escape when the vehicle left the roadway and crashed. Both were taken to Sanford Worthington Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.
