Most nonprofit employees work in health care and education. Parkview Health and Indiana Tech are two examples. The 11-county region studied by researchers at the O Neill School of Public & Environmental Affairs at Indiana University and the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy finds the sector includes 11% of all employees and payroll in northeast Indiana.
