A south-west Sydney physio has this week been found guilty of unsatisfactory professional conduct by the Health Care Complaints Commission, after he used a secret camera setup to film his patients in the nude without their consent, including a teenage girl.
On January 27,
Andrew Weinzettel was found guilty of misconduct, but his punishment is to be determined when the case continues in the Civil and Administrative Tribunal on February 12.

Police charge man with multiple offences after pursuit with stolen vehicle at St George
A man has been charged with a string of offences including a police pursuit in Sydney’s south-west earlier today.
About 4.20am (Tuesday 26 January 2021), police from Traffic South detected a Mitsubishi Lancer travelling north on Belmore Road, Riverwood at an alleged speed of 160kph in a signposted 50kph zone.
Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, however, it failed to stop. A pursuit was initiated as the vehicle turned into the westbound lanes of the M5.
Officers will allege in court that the vehicle reached speeds of 200kph before it ran a red light at the intersection of the Hume Highway, Casula, where it hit a median strip and sustained damage to the steering.

Police arrest three people after man stabbed – Roselands
Three people have been arrested after a man was stabbed multiple times at Sydney’s south west earlier this week.
Just after midnight (Wednesday 23 December 2020), officers attached to Campsie Police Area Command were called to Payten Avenue, Roselands, following reports a man had been wounded.
Police have been told the 26-year-old man was approached by a vehicle containing a number of people. The car stopped and two men armed with knives stabbed the man several times.
The injured man was taken to hospital where he underwent surgery.
An investigation commenced and police yesterday (Wednesday 23 December 2020), arrested a 16-year-old boy and two women – aged 23 and 25.

Second man charged over stabbing – Canley Heights
A second man has been charged following investigations into an alleged stabbing during an affray in Sydney’s south west which saw two men hospitalised.
Just after midnight on Saturday 22 August 2020, emergency services were called to Canley Vale Road near Derby Street, Canley Heights, after reports of an assault.
Police have been told two groups of men were involved in an affray, during which two men were allegedly stabbed. The group fled the scene prior to police arrival.
A 19-year-old man was treated by paramedics for multiple stab wounds, and a second man, aged 18, suffered bruising and a laceration.
