Appeal after reported charity fraud in Sydney’s west
Police are appealing for public assistance after reports of a charity fraud in Sydney’s west.
In January 2021, officers from Liverpool City Police Area Command commenced an investigation after reports a woman had attended homes in Casula, collecting money.
Police have been told the woman identified herself as ‘Jessie’, a representative of a children’s cancer foundation.
Inquiries have since revealed the woman is not affiliated with the nominated charity organisation and may be operating in other suburbs in Sydney’s west.
Investigators have now released images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.

He was refused bail to appear before Parramatta Bail Court today (Saturday 30 January 2021).

Officers from Liverpool City Police Area Command were patrolling Wianamatta Drive at Cartwright at about 9pm on Thursday when they spotted a man carrying a long-handled axe. Officers approached and arrested the 30-year-old man; however, he managed to break free in the process of being handcuffed and fled to a nearby laneway.

Police seek information after road rage incident at Liverpool
Police are appealing for public assistance following a road rage incident at a carpark in Liverpool overnight.
About 8pm (Wednesday 30 December 2020), a 22-year-old man and his two male passengers were driving through a carpark on Orange Grove Road in a Lexus sedan when they were approached by a male and a verbal argument commenced.
The occupants of car left the vehicle and a physical altercation began between the driver and the other man.
The fight stopped, and the three occupants returned to the car before driving away.
A short time later the vehicle stopped and up to a dozen men and women ran towards the Lexus and began kicking and jumping on the car, causing significant damage.
Man charged with murder after woman found dead in Sydney hotel room
A man has been charged with murder after a woman s body was found in a hotel room in Sydney s south-west.
Police were called to the Corner Pub in Liverpool just after midday yesterday after reports concerning a woman s welfare.
Officers from Liverpool City Police Area Command attended and found the body of a woman inside a room.

She is yet to be formally identified.
Police arrested a 34-year-old man at Liverpool Police Station. He has since been charged with murder.
