(FOX 2) - The Livingston County Sheriff s Office is asking for help to find a missing 29-year-old woman. Kayla Pierce hasn t been seen since November and her car was recently discovered in Detroit. She said she was going to come back over and I never heard anything back from her, said Kayla s mother, Belinda Pierce. It s heartwrenching. It’s devastating actually.

(FOX 2) - A new report from the MichiganRestaurant and Lodging Association shows just how dire the outlook is for the hospitality industry in the state amid COVID-19.
Through a survey, MRLA found that nearly 6,000 restaurants - or a third of Michigan restaurants - are likely to close permanently in six months if they do not receive any financial assistance from the government.
The research also reveals the same future is in the cards for about 850 hotels. That accounts for two-thirds of all hotels in the state.

âOn Friday, Dec. 11, at approximately 11:35 p.m. deputies with the Livingston County Sheriffâs Office were dispatched to a single vehicle injury crash at the intersection of W. Allen Road and Fowlerville Road in Handy Township.
âThe preliminary investigation has revealed that a 32-year-old Byron man, later identified as Brad Reaume, was driving north on Fowlerville Road in a 2007
Pontiac G5 when he lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle slid off the roadway into a tree.
âLivingston County EMS pronounced Reaume deceased at the scene. Reaume was the sole occupant in the vehicle. The sheriff said Reaume had not been wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash.

LIVINGSTON COUNTY, MI – Police are searching for a Livingston County woman who disappeared on her way to Detroit last month.
Kayla Lynn Pierce, 29, of Handy Township was reported missing Nov. 28 by her family after they were unable to contact or locate her for several days, according to the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office.
Pierce was last seen at about 6:30 p.m., Nov. 23, where she was believed to have been driving to Detroit in a 2013 Black Chrysler 200, police said.
