DOVER Husband-wife duo Chef Jim Donovan and Maureen Mo Cox and their son Ryan Donovan did not shy away from starting a new business venture amid the challenges presented by COVID-19.
Earl s Steak Sandwiches opened in October and has been well-received by the community, according to the owners. Located on Oak Avenue, the restaurant has historically been a diner, previously known as Cherrybomb s Diner and Far Out Diner. The alien mural on the side of the building, is a remnant its diner past.
Jim, who has been in the restaurant industry since his teens, said he was confident their menu and business plan would prove successful.
