A Naples woman was arrested Wednesday night on multiple charges after a vehicle crash.
The Florida Highway Patrol says Clarissa Danielle Bohanan, 32, was recklessly driving east on Lee Boulevard, drifting from side to side. A 30-year-old Naples man was in the passenger seat, and two young boys, ages 4 and 2, were in the back.
An SUV driven by a 61-year-old Lehigh Acres man with a 61-year-old female passenger was traveling east in the outside lane of Lee Blvd., east of Alvin Avenue, when Bohanan ran into the back of their SUV.
RICHLAND â The sight of a young child walking in winter without being bundled up sparked a Richland movement.
âA little girl in my sonâs class was walking to school in just a shirt and I asked her âHoney, donât you have a jacket?â â said Mary Arquette, who created what has morphed into a altruistic enterprise known as the Little Fence of Hope.
Arquette said she fetched the girl a hoodie from their house and later bought her a jacket, but it bothered her that a child would be cold and felt she needed to do more.
She and her family live on the corner of Lee Boulevard and Smith Avenue in Richland. She realized her house was positioned perfectly being a stoneâs throw from Richland High, Carmichael Middle and Marcus Whitman Elementary to help students stay warm.
