Arsonists are believed to have started a fire at a disused university halls of residence in Leicester yesterday.
The blaze was located on the ground floor of the property, and was tackled by fire crews from three different stations. It took about an hour to extinguish.

A crash closed a section of the M42 near Ashby for several hours this afternoon (Thursday January 14).
Leicestershire Police have said the collision happened close to the A511 junction, on the northbound carriageway.
Motorists were asked to avoid the area as emergency services dealt with the incident, which involved a lorry and a car.
Drivers experienced long delays to their journey times as they waited for the road to be cleared.
