Interim Celtic boss John Kennedy still has a role to play.
In the two games he has left, he can either stick with an under-performing team of misshaped parts, or have some fun with it. ‘Fun’ being dead-rubber fixtures against a rampant St Johnstone and third-place chasing Hibs.
Of course, there’s little to no pressure on Kennedy. Everyone and their cat knows that the former Celtic defender won’t be getting the job full-time. In trying circumstances, he’s had a mediocre time of it as interim boss. It’s sad to say, because I was perhaps misguidedly confident about what the coach could do.

Scunthorpe United are unlikely to stand in Joey Dawson’s way with the likes of Celtic and Derby County weighing up summer bids, Irons manager Neil Cox told BBC Radio Humberside, via Iron Bru.
He may be the nephew of Nottingham Forest veteran Matthew but, beyond those family ties, there are not too many similarities between Dawsons young and old.
Joey is a striker, unlike his centre-half uncle, and a rather prolific one at that.
The youngster’s record for Scunthorpe’s reserve sides is certainly impressive, with Wayne Rooney’s Derby and Scottish giants Celtic alerted to his potential availability.

Collin Quaner’s two first-half goals saw Town to a 2-1 victory over Bolton Wanderers at the University of Bolton Stadium with Josh Emmanuel converting a late own goal for the home side. Quaner headed the Blues in front on 33, then added his second with a shot on the turn 11 minutes later. Town saw the game out largely comfortably after the break until a cross bounced off Emmanuel and over the line in the fourth and final minute of injury time.
Quaner, Emmanuel, James Collins, Teddy Bishop and Andre Dozzell all started as Paul Lambert made five changes from the team which lost 2-0 at home to Hull City last week.

Collin Quaner’s two goals have given the Blues a 2-0 half-time lead over Bolton Wanderers at the University of Bolton Stadium.
Quaner, James Collins, Teddy Bishop, Josh Emmanuel and Andre Dozzell all started as Paul Lambert made five changes from the team which lost 2-0 at home to Hull City last week.
James Bree, Trevoh Chalobah, Toto Nsiala and Kayden Jackson dropped to the bench, while Jon Nolan missed out through injury. Will Keane made the trip but was not included in the 18 along with Jonas Knudsen.
Emmanuel was making his second start of the season at right-back with Collins alongside skipper Luke Chambers at centre-half.
