St. Luke’s University Health Network this week announced its COVID-19 vaccination plan, and the process for residents to sign up to receive shots as they become available.
To get the vaccine through St. Luke’s, anyone can pre-register through the St. Luke’s MyChart portal at sluhn.org/vaccine. Those who do not have a MyChart account may create one.
As St. Luke’s prepares to move into the next phase of vaccinations it has developed a process to allow individuals to sign up for notifications regarding the vaccine.
The state Department of Health on Tuesday said the vaccine rollout program is being updated to put people 65 and older and those with serious medical conditions into “phase 1A,” putting them before teachers, first responders and the general population.
Complaints that Bucks County is lagging behind its neighbors distributing the coronavirus vaccine might be a case of a watched pot never boiling.
And while county residents seem eager, and in some cases frustrated with the wait, to receive the vaccine, a review by this news orgainzation of data from the Pennsylvania Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention suggest the county’s vaccinations are moving along at rates close to other counties and the national average.
And with the plan progressing, the county Friday launched its online pre-registration link to begin coordination into the next phases of its planned rollout. Those who register will be notified when they can schedule an appointment.
