Carl’s Corner in Bethlehem, known in the area as a “hometown favorite,” is readying to expand after more than three decades in business.
If all goes well, current owners Cindy and Matthew Weintraub plan in June to open their second location next to Dunkin, 848 Nazareth Pike, Lower Nazareth Township. The space previously housed a chain sandwich shop. The Lower Nazareth location is approximately 1,000 square feet larger than the site in Bethlehem.

A 74-year-old Moore Township man was arraigned Tuesday night on a single count of homicide after he allegedly shot and killed his neighbor on Monday morning and then shot himself, authorities say.
Joseph L. Harvilla, of the 1100 block of Moser Road, was arraigned at 8:19 p.m. by Zoom from his bedside at St. Luke’s University Hospital in Fountain Hill where he was being treated, authorities said.
