Thank you, Sherry and good morning everyone and thank you for joining Gaming and Leisure Properties fourth quarter 2020 earnings call and webcast. The Advocate reported Monday that he will serve as an advisor to British gaming company Entain.

The report comes just a couple of days after an ethics panel cleared Jones to take the job, provided he does not represent the company in the state. Louisiana’s ethics laws mandate that people who led agencies cannot represent a company seeking to do business with the same agency in the state for two years.
The issue came up for discussion at Friday’s state Board of Ethics meeting.

More than 2,000 employees have lost their jobs at Shreveport-Bossier City casinos. The Louisiana Gaming Control Board reports the gaming industry lost more than $830 million in 2020.
DiamondJacks Casino and Hotel closed its doors in May. Former employee, Martha Brown said after working there since 2013, it broke her heart.
“It was very hard. I didn’t know what my next step would be. And I knew at that point with the other casinos not bringing back everybody, at that point, it was no point in even trying to find another job in my field.”
