RUSTON, La. (WDAM) – Tae Hardy’s floater in the lane did everything but go in with 5 seconds to play and two ensuing free throws by Amorie Archibald clinched a 65-62 victory Saturday by Louisiana Tech University over the University of Southern Mississippi.
Jaron Pierre Jr.’s half-court heave at the buzzer clanged off the side of the rim as the Bulldogs held on for the Conference USA win at The Thomas Assembly Center.

HATTIESBURG, Miss. (WDAM) – A career night from center Kelsey Jones and the best defensive effort of the season was just what the University of Southern Mississippi women’s basketball team needed.
Jones scored a career-high 22 points and pulled down a season-best 13 rebounds as the Lady Eagles shut down Louisiana Tech University in the fourth quarter to take a 57-44 Conference USA victory Saturday evening at Reed Green Coliseum.

RUSTON, La. (WDAM) – Louisiana Tech University used an 11-0 run in the third quarter to seize control and never looked back in a 77-60 over the University of Southern Mississippi Lady Eagles Thursday night at The Thomas Assembly Center.
