Anna Mae Erichsrud Blue Earth – Anna Mae (Ristau) Erichsrud, age 81, of Blue Earth died Dec. 26, 2020 at Immanuel St. Joseph Hospital in Mankato. A private family celebration of life will be held. Anna Mae was born to George and Mabel (Schewe) Moehring on April 17, 1939 in Easton. She graduated from Blue Earth High School in 1957. She was united in marriage to Theodore Ristau on April 12, 1958. Together they were blessed with four children, raising their family on a farm southwest of Blue Earth and enjoyed 32 years of marriage before Ted’s death in November 1990. She and Alan Ericshrud were united in marriage on Jan. 26, 1995. Together they enjoyed horse racing, rodeos and traveling to visit friends and family. Alan died in 2011.

Ladies group sends care packages to military 12/21/20 11:51 PM The U.S. Navy service men and women aboard the USS Winston S. Churchill are having a brighter holiday thanks to the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League. The organization also known as LWML wanted to send care packages to members of the military who would be deployed through Christmas. Pastor Adrian Krebs of Lord of Life Lutheran Church in North Vernon said the holidays can be difficult for anybody, especially those who are away from their families.
