Gary Lee Hughes, age 76 of Toronto passed away Sunday, February 14, 2021 at the Acuity Specialty Hospital of Weirton.
He was born October 23, 1944 in Steubenville, the son of the late John D. Hughes and Illeen (Snyder) Hughes.
Gary was a member of the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church of Toronto; was a 1963 graduate of Toronto High School; was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was a big Ohio State and Cleveland Brown’s fan and loved being with his grandchildren every chance he had including at their sporting events. He loved hanging out with the guys at Tim Starr’s service station.

The wait is over. The Korn Ferry Tour is back Thursday at the LECOM Suncoast Classic at Lakewood National Golf Club Commander in Lakewood, Ranch, Fla., following a four-month hiatus on the 2020-21 wraparound season schedule.
Tackling such an extensive break brings out different methods of attack both on and off the course for Korn Ferry Tour members. On the course, some members played the PGA TOUR through sponsor exemptions like Davis Riley, and others like Nick Hardy showed their Korn Ferry Tour Monday Qualifier success travels to any level by advancing through the Monday Qualifier to earn entry into back-to-back PGA TOUR starts.
