The widow of a Covid-19 victim has urged the leader of a local authority to apologise over the wording of nine memorial plaques to those who lost their lives to the virus.
A pregnant driver lost her baby and caused the death of her friend after carrying out a dangerous driving manoeuvre which led to a horror crash. Emma-Louise Robinson, 26, of Toms Lane, Kings Langley, was driving her white Fiat 500 on Augst 25 last year when she was seen to have ‘brake tested’ a car. The Fiat then overturned after the cars came together before coming to a rest on a verge. Mother-of-two Grace Estep, who was a passenger in the Fiat and a friend of Robinson s, died after suffering fatal injuries. Robinson appeared at St Albans Crown Court on Thursday where she pleaded guilty to one count of causing death by dangerous driving.
