LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) - A Lexington man has been arrested by the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department after deputies found drugs and a gun in his possession.
Officials said Donny Zimbro, 50, was charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin, trafficking meth, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of Schedule IV narcotics with intent to distribute, unlawful possession of a pistol, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

LEXINGTON, S.C. (WIS) - A man from Detroit, Michigan was arrested in South Carolina Saturday.
Derek Deonta Brown, 35, has been charged with trafficking heroin, trafficking meth, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
“Deputies were trying to find a man wanted on a bench warrant Saturday,” Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon said. “They went to the wanted man’s house in the 100 block of Sandhurst Road and he invited them inside.”
Deputies say they saw Brown sitting in the living room near a crystal substance and drug paraphernalia.

A South Carolina man was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of severely injuring his 2-month-old daughter after she was hospitalized with cardiac arrest, the Lexington County Sheriff s Dept. announced this week.
James Boltin Jr., 25, is charged with inflicting great bodily injury upon a child.
“Detectives have talked with health care providers, caretakers and family members as part of their investigation,” Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon said. “Based on the information they ve gathered, Boltin was feeding his baby in early November when he hurt her, causing the baby to go into cardiac arrest. The child was eventually transported to the hospital.”

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– According to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, a former deputy with the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department is facing an assault charge. Authorities say 37-year-old Matthew Foy Fields was arrested on Thursday and charged with assault and battery third degree.
Investigators say Fields is accused of striking a suspect in the head while making an arrest back in July.
Authorities say Fields was booked at the Lexington County Detention Center.
