COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - A Lexington County man has been sentenced to 28 years in prison for committing sex crimes against a child.
Donald Price, 50, pled guilty to 1st-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor and 2nd-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
On May 16, 2016, Special Investigator Kevin Atkins with the South Carolina Attorney Generalâs Office began an investigation into the online distribution of child pornography, according to reports.
Inv. Atkins identified Price as a user of a file-sharing network that was distributing child pornography. Inv. Atkins then referred the case to Sergeant Adam Creech with the Lexington County Sheriffâs Department.

LEXINGTON, S.C. (WIS) - The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a shooting that injured one person.
The incident occurred just before 2 a.m. on the 100 block of Crystal Springs Road.
Deputies say they found a man with gunshot wounds on the front porch of the home.
The victim was transported from the scene to an area hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

LEXINGTON, S.C. (WIS) - The Lexington County Sheriffâs Department has arrested a man in connection with fraudulent construction work.
James Brandon Jordan, 29, has been charged with obtaining goods under false pretenses for signing a contract and accepting more than $30,000 to work on a Chapin home last October.
âJordan has whatâs known as a specialty contractor registration from the state Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation that allows him to perform only certain types of work at a home,â Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon said. âBased on what weâve determined during our investigation, Jordan agreed to do work outside the scope of his LLR registration.â
