The Minister of Health on Wednesday urged Barbadians to remain confident in his ministry and its personnel in the fight to stem a surge in coronavirus infections.
At a COVID-19 press conference, Lieutenant Colonel Jeffrey Bostic said Barbados is not the only country grappling with a surge, and with the efforts of officials over the last two weeks to help bring the numbers down with success, Barbadians have no reason to panic.
He said: “There will be surges at times – this is happening all over the world. It is up and down, so it’s not a matter of losing control, the protocols we have, have worked very well for us.
