Minister of National Security meets with CARICOM Member States and U.S. Agencies to discuss Firearms Trafficking in the Caribbean Port of Spain: Minister of National Security, the Honourable Fitzgerald Hinds M.P. participated in a meeting between CARICOM Member States and representatives of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), held via video conference on Wednesday 21 st April, 2021. Also representing Trinidad and Tobago at the meeting were Permanent Secretary (Ag.), Ministry of National Security, Mr. Gary Joseph and Deputy Director of the International Affairs Unit, Major (Ret’d) Richard Lynch. The meeting was chaired by the Honourable Robeson Benn, Minister of Home Affairs of the Republic of Guyana and Chair of the Council for National Security and Law Enforcement (CONSLE).
