Another law firm plans to move into Hines’ tower at 1144 15th St.
Stinson is taking three-fourths of the building’s 24th floor, about 20,000 square feet, according to documents submitted to the city seeking permits to build out the space.
The Kansas City-based firm is the sixth law firm to lease at the 40-story building, which was completed by Houston-based Hines in 2018.
A spokeswoman for Stinson declined to comment.
Stinson already has an office downtown in Independence Plaza, at 1050 17th St., according to the firm’s website. It moved into the building in 2018, taking about 7,000 square feet, according to a news release from the firm at the time.

PHOENIX Governor Doug Ducey today announced the appointments of Jeffrey Sklar, Lisa Abrams and Gary Cohen to the Pima County Superior Court to fill the vacancies created by the appointment of Judge John Hinderaker to the United States District Court, District of Arizona and the retirement of Judges Gus Aragón and Leslie Miller.
Jeffrey Sklar is a Partner at Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie, where he has been a commercial litigator since 2010. He represents businesses and business owners in various legal disputes, and he has experience in eminent domain, antitrust, receiverships, and bankruptcy law. He also serves as outside general counsel to the Metropolitan Domestic Water Improvement District and the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. In addition, Sklar has been serving since 2018 as a Pima County Superior Court Judge Pro Tem, where he handles civil and family law related settlement conferences.

A downtown law firm is on the move for the first time in 35 years.
Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie has leased the entire 10th floor and the majority of the top floor in the 11-story office building within McGregor Square, the mixed-use project being completed next to Coors Field. The deal is for approximately 30,000 square feet.
“New offices in the historic, vibrant ballpark district is reflective of our firm rooted in Denver’s past and focused on its future,” Doug Tumminello, managing partner of the Denver office, said in a statement.
