A 40-year-old Lewiston man was arrested Tuesday, June 8 as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation, according to the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency.
Anthony Barrett Cremona was arrested after the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency and the Lewiston Police executed a search warrant at his apartment at 83 Bartlett Street, Lewiston, Maine. The warrant was part of the ongoing investigation into drug trafficking and the distribution of illegal drugs in Lewiston and the surrounding areas.
Anthony Barrett Cremona is charged with multiple crimes including: Aggravated Trafficking Scheduled W Drugs – (Cocaine) Class A; Aggravated Trafficking Scheduled W Drugs – (Cocaine Base) Class A; Aggravated Trafficking Scheduled W Drugs – (Methamphetamine) Class A; Felon In Possession Of A Firearm – Class C.

The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency has announced the arrest of Anthony Barrett Cremona, 40, of Lewiston, as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.
Maine Drug Enforcement Agents and Lewiston Police executed a search warrant at Cremona’s apartment, 83 Bartlett Street, Lewiston. Police were initially called to a domestic disturbance at the residence. The execution of the search warrant was part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation involving Cremona and the distribution of illegal drugs in Lewiston and surrounding areas. With the assistance of Lewiston police, a number of illegal drugs were located at the apartment.
Seized items included: 130 Grams of Methamphetamine, 150 grams of Cocaine, 150 grams of Cocaine Base (Crack), (7) firearms, and $16,000 in suspected drug proceeds. Additionally, officers located scales, packaging and other items related to large scale drug distribution. (Street value of the drugs seized are in excess of $40,000)

Paul Dalessandro, 68, of Brunswick was driving a black 2007 Toyota Prius on Lisbon Street into Lewiston with his wife, Judith Montgomery, 68, as a passenger, Lewiston Police Lt. David St. Pierre wrote in a statement. Their pet dog was in the Prius also. The couple and their dog died at the scene, according to St. Pierre.
