Big Daddy Guns will hold a grand opening for its Ocala store, in the Carus Plaza shopping center at 3558 SW College Road, Suite 400, at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 20. The store sells guns, gear, ammo and accessories.

Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa is opening this month at 3980 SW 26th Court, Unit 103, Ocala. This will be the national company s second biggest Florida store and is expected to provide 20-25 new jobs.

A natural crowd pleaser, Mularsky was a cheerleader through and through whenever he sang: From east to west, Yellow Jackets are the best. Sometimes I wonder if there are characters like him anymore, said Sandi Moore, the executive director of the Leesburg Chamber of Commerce who was in one of Mularsky s classes. I know that they are, but when you know somebody who has that kind of personality.
Mularsky, who taught for 30 years in Lake County schools, died Tuesday. He was 60 years old. A funeral service was held Friday at Beyers Funeral Home in Leesburg, according to his obituary.

More than 200 locals have been inoculated against COVID-19 after vaccines arrived this past week in Citrus County for healthcare workers.
As of Monday, Dec. 28, according to the Florida Department of Health (FDOH), 226 county residents have received their first vaccine dose against the contagious novel coronavirus.Â

Those people could have also received their vaccine outside of the county as part of their employment.
