Toll hikes in New York and New Jersey will go into effect Sunday on the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge and several bridges connecting New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware.
The Lakewood Scoop reported that the Delaware River Joint Toll Commission voted to approve toll increases to offset the decline in drivers due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Cash-paying travelers will see prices go from $1 to $3, while E-ZPass holders will have to pay $1.25.
The affected bridges are: Route 1 (Trenton-Morrisville), I-80 (Delaware Water Gap), Route 206 (Milford-Montague), Route 22 (Easton-Phillipsburg), Route 202 (New Hope-Lambertville), and Routes 611, 46, 94 (Portland-Columbia).

The family temporarily was removed from the plane but was later able to continue on the same flight from Orlando, Florida, to Atlantic City after agreeing to follow the mandate, the airline said.

TOMS RIVER, New Jersey (KYW) A New Jersey family is reportedly demanding an apology from an airline company after they were temporarily removed from the flight over a mask dispute involving their toddler. According to Yahoo.com, the family is from Toms River, and they were removed from a Spirit Airlines flight traveling from Orlando to Atlantic City because their daughter was eating on the flight without a mask on.
A video posted by The Lakewood Scoop shows a fight attendant giving a couple a hard time over their toddler not wearing a mask while eating.
