Only seven regions in southern Ontario will be allowed to return to in-class learning next week. This doesn t include schools in the London area, meaning online learning will continue until further notice.
Plenty of local families will have to adjust their plans following the extension of teacher-led online learning.
The province has announced students won’t return to the classroom until at least January 25th in Southern Ontario, and that includes those in the Limestone District School Board and Algonquin & Lakeshore Catholic District School Board.

Kingston, Frontenac and Lennox and Addington Public Health is reporting 13 new cases of COVID-19 in the region on Saturday.
Since Friday, cases have been recorded in Kingston, Greater Napanee, and South Frontenac and Loyalist townships.

Saturday’s cases include eight cases contracted via close contact: a female and a male in the 10 to 19 age group; two women in their 20s, one of which is a health-care worker; a man in his 30s; two women in their 40s; and a man in his 60s, who is a health-care worker.
