Les Schwab Amphitheater Partners With Live Nation
The Les Schwab Amphitheater, Central Oregon’s riverfront music venue in Bend’s Old Mill District, and Live Nation Entertainment, the world’s leading live entertainment company, have agreed on a historic partnership that will bring more music and events to the High Desert than ever before.
Located along the Deschutes River, the partnership makes Les Schwab Amphitheater the first Live Nation venue in Oregon. As part of Live Nation, Les Schwab Amphitheater will tap into leading venue operations from Venue Nation, as well as tours and events from the world’s leading concert promoter.

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) You could call it a musical act four years in the making a new partnership that promises to entertain more Central Oregonians in coming years starting this summer, in fact.
The Les Schwab Amphitheater, the 20-year-old riverfront music venue in Bend’s Old Mill District, and Live Nation Entertainment, which bills itself as the world’s leading live entertainment company, announced Wednesday they have agreed on a historic partnership, saying the move will bring more music and events to the High Desert than ever before.

The Les Schwab Amphitheater in Bend is opening for business again, with 14 shows already announced for 2021.
As the percentage of coronavirus-vaccinated Oregonians continues to rise, Oregon is slowly moving back toward normalcy and that includes a resumption of live entertainment. The popular 8,000-seat Bend venue announced Wednesday a partnership with California-based Live Nation Entertainment to bring more and bigger names and events to the amphitheater.
“We’re ecstatic,” Les Schwab Amphitheater general manager Marney Smith said in a statement. “The depth of knowledge and expertise the Live Nation team has brought to the table has been invaluable.”

Legendary Kentucky rockers My Morning Jacket announced their first proper tour in five years on Tuesday.
Kicking off on Aug. 27 at Charlotte Metro Credit Union Amphitheatre in Charlotte, N.C., and concluding Nov. 4-6 with a three-night stand at Chicago s Auditorium Theatre, My Morning Jacket s upcoming trek includes previously announced festival plays at Kentucky s Railbird (Aug. 28), Tennessee s Bonnaroo (Sept. 4) and Southern California s Ohana (Sept. 24).
The band will also play amphitheaters including Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Md., and theaters such as Seattle s Paramount, where it ll log two nights Oct. 1-2.
