The Lehigh County Coroner’s Office is trying to locate family members of a 36-year-old Bethlehem woman who died Tuesday at St. Luke’s University Hospital in Fountain Hill.
An autopsy was performed Wednesday on Samantha Scoble and results are pending toxicology results, the coroner’s office said in a news release.
The coroner’s office determines the cause and manner of a person’s death as well as notifying family members.

Man dies after Allentown shooting, coroner’s office reports (UPDATE)

A 29-year-old Allentown man died early Tuesday after being shot Monday night in Allentown, the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office and city police report.
Erik Mondragon was pronounced dead at 12:22 a.m. at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Salisbury Township. An autopsy was performed Tuesday, and Coroner Eric Minnich said just before noon that Mondragon died from a gunshot wound to the body. Minnich ruled the death a homicide.
Officers responded about 10:50 p.m. to the 700 block Lehigh Street and found the wounded victim, police said. He was treated at the scene and city EMS took him to the hospital, police said.

Driver now charged with homicide in crash that killed woman and her 1-year-old son

Lazarus Roldan, 31, initially faced accidents involving death and related charges in the Allentown crash.
On Tuesday, Lehigh County District Attorney Jim Martin announced he was adding homicide by vehicle, aggravated assault by vehicle, and other charges.
Roldan was arraigned in the new case and bail was set at 10% of $50,000 for the new charges. An attorney has not yet entered an appearance for him in the case, according to court records.
Police were called at about 2:44 a.m. Jan. 1 for a crash in the 1200 block of South Eighth Street in Allentown, and found the wreckage of a BMW and a Trailblazer.

A 79-year-old Allentown woman died Monday from from complications of third-degree burns suffered in a house fire April 10 in the 400 block of North Railroad Street in Allentown, the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office reports.
Maria Lantigua Pilar’s death in the inpatient unit of Lehigh Valley Hospice was ruled an accident, the coroner’s office said.
