‘It’s survival mode’: Bethlehem brewery won’t shut down if state issues order (UPDATE)
Updated Dec 09, 2020;
The team behind Seven Sirens Brewing Co. on Southside Bethlehem spent three years working to open on Valentine’s Day 2020, and had just 28 days before a state-ordered shutdown took effect the day before St. Patrick’s Day.
Now with rumors swirling of new restrictions, despite being denied by Gov. Tom Wolf’s office, Seven Sirens co-owner Joshua Divers said Wednesday they will not comply with another closure order.
“We’re just not shutting the doors,” Divers told lehighvalleylive.com. “We’re still doing the social distancing, the capacity, the mask-wearing. We’re still doing everything they said for the last five months that was safe. It’s just now we’re not closing the doors.”
