KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 23): Many States have been busy making proper preparations for the first day of the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme tomorrow, including ensuring the storage facilities are all set to receive the vaccines.
In Perak, Sultan Nazrin Shah himself visited the Indera Mulia Stadium in Ipoh, one of the vaccination centres in the State, ahead of the immunisation programme which will start on March 1.
Menteri Besar Datuk Saarani Mohamad said 60% out of 34,743 listed frontliners in Perak have agreed to receive the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine shots, while the rest disagreed on various reasons such as bad allergies, pregnant or recently got married and plan to have a child.

Apart from this, AirAsia will also begin operations for three other new routes next week, which are Penang - Kota Bharu and Johor Bahru - Kota Bharu on 22 December, and Ipoh to Langkawi on 23 December.

LANGKAWI, 21 December 2020: AirAsia started its newest route
connecting Kota Bharu, Kelantan, to the holiday island of Langkawi on Saturday.
The inaugural flight (AK6289) touched down in Malaysia’s
premier holiday island, Langkawi, on time with a healthy 80% flight load the

AirAsia also confirmed it would begin operations on three
other new routes this week in Malaysia linking Penang to Kota Bharu, Johor
