Lansing police investigate homicide after 60-year-old man shot, killed
LANSING A 60-year-old man was shot and killed late Wednesday in Lansing, according to police.
Lansing police were called just before 10:30 p.m. Wednesday to the 1100 block of Climax Street about a shooting, according to a news release.
Officers found a 60-year-old man with a gunshot wound. They tried to revive the man, but he was pronounced dead on the scene, according to the release.
Investigators do not know the motive for the shooting, but said there is no active threat to the public, according to the release.
