P2 driver charged with high-range PCA at Bankstown
A man will face court today for multiple driving offences including high-range PCA in Sydney’s west yesterday.
About 12pm Thursday 23 April 2021, officers attached to Bankstown Traffic and Highway Patrol responded to reports about the driving of a black Mazda SUV in the Greenacre area.
Police stopped the vehicle on Hillcrest Avenue and spoke with the driver, a 23-year-old man.
Checks revealed the man was driving while his P2 licence was cancelled and his application for a new licence had been refused.
The man was arrested and taken to Bankstown Police Station where he underwent a breath analysis that returned an alleged reading of 0.183 grams of alcohol in 210 litres of breath.

11 charged after more than 40 warrants and FPO searches conducted – Raptor Squad
NSW Police have charged 11 people and executed 42 Firearms Prohibition Orders (FPO) searches and search warrants as part of a week-long operation targeting organised criminal networks across Sydney.
The State Crime Command’s Raptor Squad, with assistance from local police across the Sydney Metropolitan Region, conducted a ‘Week of Action’ between Wednesday 7 and Tuesday 13 April 2021.
During the operation, officers seized more than $400,000 cash, vehicles, weapons, jewellery, and electronic devices.
Officers also seized prohibited drugs with a combined estimated potential street value of more than $200,000.
All items will undergo further forensic examination.

Police charge woman with multiple offences after police pursuit – Birrong
A woman will face court tomorrow after allegedly leading police on a pursuit through Sydney’s south-west today.
About 11.15am (Tuesday 13 April 2021), a 29-year-old woman was driving a Hyundai SUV on Myrtle Road, Bankstown, when she was noticed by police.
Officers from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command attempted to pull her over, however, she failed to stop.
She continued driving through local streets of Bankstown to evade police until she crashed her car into a guard rail at the railway underpass where Brunker Road meets Ferrier Road, Birrong.
