The Region was well-represented when the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association released its all-state selections Tuesday.
Bishop Noll s Courtney Blakely and Michigan City s Trinity Thompson were both named to the IBCA Senior All-State Supreme 15 team, while Crown Point duo Jessica Carrothers and Lilly Stoddard, who led the Bulldogs to their third girls basketball state title Saturday, were selected to the IBCA Underclass All-State Supreme 15 team. I think (Stoddard and Carrothers) complement each other really well, Crown Point coach Chris Seibert said. A lot of stuff that we do offensively involves the pick and roll game with those two, and defensively we re aggressive, and Lilly is just that rock for us at the basket. I think this is a great accomplishment for them.

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) Inside of Indy’s Kitchen, a place where chefs from the city can get their ideas off the ground, is a private chef with a catering business that’s getting a lot of attention in Indianapolis.
The Le’Noir Experience, founded by Amber Le’Noir, first got started in July. “It’s just basically the childhood foods that I grew up on,” Le’Noir said. “I come from a family of great cooks beginning with my grandmother, the late Ella Mae Williams, to my parents and my sister Arienne.”
However, although cooking seems to run in her blood, she had her doubts. That’s when her friend and hairstylist, Porscha Williams, wouldn’t take “no” for an answer. “(I) shared with her my passion and she believed in my vision and gave me my first private chef opportunity and it’s been a blessing ever since.”

Two courts will be set up at Lucas Oil Stadium, the home of the Indianapolis Colts. Games will also be played at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, which hosts the Indiana Pacers. Area colleges, like Butler University, Purdue University, and Indiana University, will hold games in addition to the Indiana Farmers Coliseum at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.
Teams will be housed on dedicated floors at hotels around Indianapolis and will be completely quarantined with one another, with private dining and transportation to and from games.
Spectators will be allowed; however, all stands will be limited to 25%, according to the Indy Star. It is very likely the stands will be filled with family – and those that were willing to pay an exorbitant amount for tickets.
