Multiple departments battle barn blaze Saturday
Hillsdale Daily News
HANOVER Moscow Township Fire Department was dispatched to a barn fire Saturday in the 10000 block of Roundtree Road in Hanover Township in Jackson County, just north of the Hillsdale County border, to assist Hanover Township Fire Department.
Assistance from additional agencies was requested, including Spring Arbor, Concord Pulaski and Liberty Township fire departments and Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
Firefighters vented the roof of the barn and used special saws to cut into the siding of the barn, allowing better access to the blaze to extinguish it.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
